Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong working relationships with customers.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a datacenter.
  • Manage, plan, control, and organize planned preventative and corrective electrical and/or mechanical equipment.
  • Coordinate CMMS and monitor performance of electrical plant and machinery to prevent failure or loss of equipment.
  • Allocate work daily to technicians, monitor progress, and inspect completed work to ensure required standards are achieved.
  • Ensure electrical, mechanical, and/or fire/life safety equipment within the datacenter operates at peak efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with infrastructure operations standardization.
  • Act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues within the datacenter.
  • Assist technicians in emergency situations, provide input/recommendations on electrical/mechanical design parameters, and manage small-to-medium projects from conception to completion.
  • Report critical infrastructure KPIs, objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Identify single points-of-failure at regional datacenter locations and coordinate CE audits and compliance verifications.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities and provide recommendations on new data center equipment designs, technologies, and construction methods.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent AND 1+ year(s) industry experience OR 2+ years industry experience and college coursework.

Background Check Requirements:

  • Ability to meet security screening requirements, including citizenship verification and clearance assessment.

We also look for preferred qualifications such as experience in Critical Environment infrastructures or physical IT infrastructures, technical college degree in related field, and applicable certifications.
