Instructional Design Lead

We are seeking a seasoned instructional design professional to join our team as an Instructional Design Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing compliant training materials, collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to integrate feedback and ensuring the highest quality of learning solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of instructional design principles, experience in working with SMEs, and excellent communication skills. You will also possess a Cert IV in Training & Assessment and/or equivalent qualifications in instructional design or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop compliant training materials and ensure they meet all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to integrate feedback and ensure the highest quality of learning solutions.
  • Conduct compliance checks and map content against competency frameworks.
  • Support SMEs and team members to ensure confidence and alignment with training goals.
  • Assist with graphics, e-learning resources, and user testing to validate learning solutions.
About You
  • Strong understanding of RTO development, the ADDIE Cycle, SADL, and AQSA requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to act as the "glue" between SMEs and development teams.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment (highly desirable).
  • Background in instructional design, compliance, and/or graphic design is advantageous.
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
