Who are we?
Building a better future for our Communities.
Argyle Housing is a community-managed, not-for-profit, housing organisation. Our main objective is to provide and manage secure, sustainable housing for people on low to moderate incomes who would otherwise struggle to find accommodation and for disadvantaged people who need support in order to maintain independent living. As a community housing service provider we are responsive to local needs and are committed to building sustainable communities in areas of need. Housing services include tenancy management and maintenance.
We are committed to assisting our clients and their communities to achieve a better future.
We have a portfolio of over 2,700 properties and offices in Campbelltown, Bowral, Young, Yass, Goulburn, Griffith, Wagga Wagga, Queanbeyan and Canberra.
The Tenancy Solutions Specialist is responsible for managing all end-of-tenancy processes ensuring timely, consistent and effective resolution of tenancy exits. This includes managing tenancy terminations, property hand backs, former tenancy arrears and debt, and pathways for reallocation or re-entry into housing.
The role works collaboratively across teams to deliver practical, solution-focused responses that support positive tenancy outcomes and reduce tenancy-related risk. It includes assisting clients to overcome barriers to re-enter social or affordable housing where appropriate and contributing to sustained engagement with the housing system.
The Tenancy Solutions Specialist is also responsible for preparing and representing Argyle Housing in all relevant NSW and ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT/ACAT) proceedings. This includes ensuring accurate documentation, identifying resolution options early, and supporting negotiated outcomes where possible, in line with legislation and Argyle Housing policy.

- Up to date knowledge of relevant tenancy and housing legislation
- Knowledge of social housing policies and procedures
- Sound understanding of social and community issues impacting on social and affordable housing clients
