Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

">

In this role, you will design and develop compliant, high-quality training materials and act as the key link between SMEs and instructional development.

">

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of RTO development, the ADDIE Cycle, SADL and AQSA requirements, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.

">

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Collaborate with SMEs to develop compliant training products and integrate feedback.">
  • Design and review documentation using established templates and instructional design principles.">
  • Conduct compliance checks and map content against competency frameworks.">
  • Apply evidence-based instructional theories and human-centred design principles.">
  • Support SMEs and team members to ensure confidence and alignment with training goals.">
  • Assist with graphics, e-learning resources, and user testing to validate learning solutions.">

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong understanding of RTO development, the ADDIE Cycle, SADL and AQSA requirements.">
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to act as the 'glue' between SMEs and development teams.">
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.">
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment (highly desirable).">
  • Background in instructional design, compliance, and/or graphic design is advantageous.">
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.">
