Strategic Leadership Opportunity: Director – People & Culture

  • Shape the Strategic Direction:
  • Ensure effective governance and support the performance and development of the CEO.
  • Oversight and Strategy:
  • Contribute to the formulation and oversight of strategic plans, business operations, and organisational policies, with a focus on people and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership Governance:
  • Effective governance of a respected Christian organisation.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Involvement in formulating strategic directions and the approval of strategic plans.
  • Performance Management:
  • Recruitment and managing performance of senior executives.
  • Review and Approval:
  • Reviewing, approving, and monitoring key organisational documents.
  • Policy Development:
  • Contributing to the development of Board and organisational policies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement and networking on behalf of the organisation.
Requirements:
  • Time Commitment:
  • Attend approximately 11 Board meetings and other special meetings as required.
  • Continuous Learning:
  • Participate in relevant learning and development opportunities.
  • Travel and Communication:
  • Some travel may be anticipated, with regular communication required for management, financial reporting, and general compliance issues.
