About the team you'll join

The Grow domain within Xero's Enterprise Technology group oversees key Sales & Marketing Technologies used at Xero. Within Grow, our focus is on Customer Acquisition and Engagement; working with stakeholders to develop new capabilities that enhance experiences for external customers and internal users.

We leverage systems like Intercom, Qualtrics, Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM), Marketing Cloud, CRM Analytics, and other SaaS-based technologies to drive strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and deliver tailored solutions to optimize the use of Intercom, ensuring sustainable engineering practices.
  • Provide day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and support for the Intercom platform and its users.
  • Collaborate within and across teams to design and deliver initiatives aimed at measuring and improving customer engagement.
  • Support the development of integration solutions between Intercom and other systems such as Salesforce CRM.
  • Build and maintain a reputation as a trusted advisor across internal stakeholders by advocating best practice and providing recommendations to optimize platform use.
  • Engage with and interact directly with Intercom representatives.

About the Role

This role requires a strong understanding of Intercom or similar customer service/communication platforms. Previous experience working with SaaS-based technologies and platforms, ideally in an agile fashion, is highly valued.

A curious mindset to tackle technical challenges and learn on the go across various SaaS-based systems is essential. If you're an experienced technology generalist or have experience as a digital media manager, we'd be interested in discussing this opportunity with you.
