Job Title: Energy Resource Manager

 

Job Description:

As a critical team member, you will collaborate closely with Electrical Engineers and Critical Environment Field Service Engineers to optimize space, power, cooling, and network efficiency. Your primary focus will be on reducing stranded capacity by implementing optimization techniques and increasing Infrastructure Utilization Effectiveness (IUE) and Power Harvesting (PH). You will lead retrofit efforts to upgrade legacy data centers and maximize capacity in our existing fleet.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing IT allocation at the campus/metro level, working collaboratively with stakeholders, and ensuring that demands are properly allocated across the IT infrastructure. You will also perform virtual failure analysis, develop a master allocation plan, and execute tasks or projects to drive operationalization of customer capacity.

You will ensure compliance with data center business units and service-level policies, engage with relevant teams and resources, manage programs associated with your area of responsibility, and demonstrate cost-effectiveness while adhering to budget requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will require a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology or delivering server and network deployment projects in large-scale environments.

Preferred qualifications include experience in Critical Environment infrastructure, IT Critical Space, and understanding of IT Allocation. You must also meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including Citizenship Verification and enhanced background checks.
