About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals in the field of litter prevention. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a specialized and responsive litter prevention program.

The successful candidate will have experience in supervising and developing staff, as well as input into developing and implementing programs related to illegal dumping and environmental protection issues.

You will also be responsible for monitoring the budget and identifying any discrepancies, and overseeing investigations in line with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day supervision, development and support to Litter Prevention staff
  • Develop and implement a Litter Prevention program relating to illegal dumping and environmental protection issues
  • Monitor the budget and identify any discrepancies
  • Oversee and undertake investigations in line with relevant legislation

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Compliance) or Business, or similar qualification with relevant experience
  • Experience in dealing with complaints or disputes in a professional and diligent manner
  • Supervisory experience and/or a demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate staff
  • Demonstrated experience in Court attendance and prosecution procedures
  • A Current valid Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Must hold or be able to obtain an Employee Working with Children Check
