Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to deliver waste management services within Council precincts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring public and workplace safety, as well as delivering high-quality waste collection services in compliance with organisational requirements.

The role involves providing operational, supervisory and administrative support to the team, including allocating plant and drivers. You will also be required to utilize your experience in a heavy vehicle operational environment to supervise remotely located driving staff.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current Victorian Driver's Licence (HR preferred) and demonstrated customer service expertise. You should also have a strong understanding of waste services and practices, as well as computer-based knowledge consistent with the requirements of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of driving staff in waste services or related field.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for both public and employees.
  • Deliver high-quality waste collection services in compliance with organisational requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, residents and contractors.
  • Utilize computer-based knowledge consistent with the requirements of this position, including reporting and payroll.
