Job Title

We are seeking experienced Part Time Retail Security Officers who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and are passionate about the security industry with a strong desire to make a difference. This position is to commence ASAP.

You will be responsible for providing security service at Stockland Burleigh Heads Shopping centre, supporting all establishments, guests and visitors. Services include but are not limited to; building relationships, managing access, responding in a timely manner to client requests, ensuring safety and security for the site, managing emergency situations and demonstrated pro-active security awareness.

The roster for this role is Friday 14:00 - 21:30 & Saturday 12:00 - 21:30.

Requirements
  • To be considered for an opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:
  • Current QLD Full Security Licence, including crowd control where applicable
  • Apply First Aid Certificate
  • Provide a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
  • Previous experience in Retail Security is welcomed but not essential
  • Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery which comes under your control
  • The ability to complete reports using various platforms
  • Excellent presentation, well-groomed and corporate-appropriate
  • High-level problem-solving skills
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations
  • Valid work rights in Australia
  • Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours
  • Availability across 7 days/nights
