Job Role:

We are seeking a Security Officer to play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets. This is a busy and varied position where you will be valued for your hard work.

This position would suit someone with security experience looking for a change in their career.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out foot/buggy patrols of the centre, responding to incidents, attending First Aid situations, providing assistance to retailers and customers, and reviewing/monitoring access control and CCTV systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the centre to ensure the safety and security of clients and staff.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies that may arise.
  • Provide First Aid and support as required.
  • Offer assistance to retailers and customers as needed.
  • Monitor and review access control and CCTV systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.

Requirements:

  • Holding a valid QLD Security Licence with Crowd Controller and monitoring component.
  • Possessing current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with clients and management to ensure all service deliveries meet client expectations.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a similar security role.
  • An understanding of retail shopping centre operations and procedures.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries in a professional manner.
