The High Growth and Emerging Corporate (HGEC) team provides comprehensive financial solutions and risk management for diverse customer segments. As a senior banking professional, you will proactively manage key customer relationships, meeting their needs by providing tailored solutions via cost-effective channels. Your banking acumen will enable you to oversee full portfolio management, driving business growth through existing customers, new acquisitions, and expense optimization.

What does this role entail?

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic HGEC clients, identifying opportunities for expansion and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging internal and external networks to drive income targets.
  • Evaluate economic value and risk potential for new business prospects.
  • Enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of assigned portfolios.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions for HGEC clients.
  • Sales - Develop and execute targeted sales campaigns, promoting tailored Bank products and services within established parameters.
  • Drive individual and team performance excellence through coaching and mentoring.
  • Implement annual business plans for allocated customer portfolios.
  • Support the Deal Structuring & Execution team in proposal preparation outside authorized authorities, justifying recommendations with thorough industry and business analysis.
  • Lead and guide indirect reports.

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

You are likely to be an experienced corporate/banking professional with a degree in business or a postgraduate qualification (CA, PY, ACCA, MBA, CIB). Strong experience in business banking and/or credit assessment is highly desirable. Particularly, experience in relation to HGEC segment operations, combined with a comprehensive understanding of commercial practices, BFS products, and services, emphasizing sales, lending, credit assessment, and control expertise. Proven relationship management/customer-facing experience is essential.
