Industry and Community Hub Coordinator Role

The Industry and Community Hub connects students, industry, and the community, creating practice-based learning opportunities that shape future-ready graduates.

This role is part of a team responsible for coordinating Work Integrated Learning (WIL) initiatives within the Faculty of Business and Law. The incumbent collaborates closely with stakeholders to promote and support WIL programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with industry partners to ensure a pipeline of high-quality student placements.
  • Raise awareness of the WIL program through various channels, including events, social media, and careers expos.
  • Build new relationships with hosts and ensure a smooth and supportive WIL placement experience.
  • Conduct research based on student demand for roles and identify potential industry partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated understanding of the student experience and commitment to delivering high-quality client services.
  • Ability to build, maintain, and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including professional and industry partners.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage, and meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
