Sports Management Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced Sports Management Officer to join our client in the local government sector. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement and enhancing recreational experiences for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sport and recreation initiatives forward by advising on development opportunities
Support local clubs and organizations to boost community participation through strategic partnerships
Identify funding opportunities and oversee facility maintenance strategies to ensure optimal use of resources
Manage recreational facilities and operations, including swimming complexes and community parks, with a focus on customer satisfaction and experience
Ideal candidates will have experience in sports or recreation development, strong project management skills, and the drive to make a difference in the community
A background in Sports Administration or Human Movement is highly desirable but not essential
