Functional System Analyst Role Overview

A permanent opportunity awaits a skilled Functional System Analyst to join our team. This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of office and work-from-home flexibility, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain system configuration and data changes to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage system upgrades and determine features with stakeholders through collaborative efforts.
  • Develop and deliver training, demonstrations, and presentations to enhance staff knowledge and capabilities.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on all changes to facilitate transparency and accountability.
  • Facilitate and participate in meetings and workshops to drive project progress and engagement.
  • Complete and follow up change requests for enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
  • Train and assist staff with system issues and troubleshoot problems to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Evaluate and test new technologies for interoperability to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Work on projects and implement new requirements and changes in functionalities or reporting to drive business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the operation and maintenance of financial systems.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting (or progress towards) would be highly valued.
  • General understanding of financial management techniques and practices.
  • Well-developed computer literacy skills to effectively utilize software applications.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry to provide informed insights.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Ability to accurately collect information to understand and assess the clients' needs and situation.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Knowledge of Workday and Anaplan would be advantageous in driving project success.
