The position of a Senior Intellectual Property Attorney involves providing strategic legal advice and leadership to clients while contributing to the firm's objectives and success.
Compensation Package
We offer a highly competitive compensation package, with an estimated annual salary of $500k. This includes a base fee that ensures stability and a bonus structure that rewards excellence in client service and business development.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality legal advice on IP matters, including trademarks, copyright, data breach, privacy, brand protection, disputes, and licensing.
- Leveraging their expertise to drive business growth and develop new revenue streams.
- Supervising, training, and mentoring junior attorneys to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Staying up-to-date with relevant law and legislation, attending seminars, and participating in continuing professional development initiatives.
- Maintaining excellent time management skills, adhering to time recording expectations, and meeting billable hour targets.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A strong background in IP law, with experience across the full spectrum of intellectual property matters.
- Advanced drafting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- A proven track record of building and fostering strong client relationships, driving business development, and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the firm's overall strategy.
