  • The role of DFI Operator is a crucial position within the Defence industry, requiring a strong focus on safety and compliance. As a key player in supporting the Australian Defence Force across multiple locations nationwide, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of aviation and/or ground fuel installations.
  • Key responsibilities include managing quality, compliance, quantity, and availability of fuel and related systems and processes, as well as ensuring the technical integrity of the fuel through quality control sampling and testing.
  • Experience in similar environments, such as high-risk or hazardous processing settings, would be highly regarded.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A valid drivers licence, preferably HR or HC, would be advantageous.
  • Defence specific training would be provided to the successful applicant where required.
  • Strong team players, self-starters, and dedicated employees are required, with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Current or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance is essential.
  • Locational flexibility, with the ability to live locally or relocate to the region, would be beneficial.
