Heavy Rigid Fuel Delivery Driver

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid driver to join our team in Newcastle. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of fuel to various customers within the Newcastle & Hunter regions.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading, transportation and delivery of fuel products to retail, commercial, agricultural & industrial customers
  • Pre-loading for deliveries
  • Perform daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
  • Manage fatigue and perform log book duties
  • Develop, grow and maintain good relationships with our customers
  • Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times
  • Carry out all duties within set timeframes and follow instructions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum HR license
  • Fuel experience beneficial, however not necessary
  • Dangerous Goods licence considered an advantage
  • SLP is considered an advantage
  • BFM Statement of Attainment
  • Commercial Driver Medical Fitness
  • Clean driving record and a commitment to a safe work environment
  • Dedication to achieving high standards of safety
  • Great customer service and friendly attitude
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
