About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is based at our Newcastle Depot and reports to the Depot Manager. The Logistics Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling day-to-day deliveries of bulk fuels from terminal to customer sites, ensuring efficient fleet operations through effective load maximisation, route planning, and driver scheduling.
- Scheduling deliveries and monitoring fuel tank levels across sites.
- Liaising with drivers, customers, and transport sub-contractors.
- Supporting depot operations, including trip processing and dispatch activities.
- Previous scheduling experience is an advantage but not essential.
- A good understanding of Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) and national heavy vehicles regulatory requirements.
- Critical thinking with a focus on problem-solving and solution-based outcomes.
- Capable of working unsupervised and managing time effectively.
