The Position

We are seeking a Fuel Operations Specialist to join our Operations & Maintenance team at RAAF Base Williamtown, located in the NSW Hunter Region. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment, supporting national security requirements.

  • As a member of the Operating Agent team, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of aviation and/or ground fuel installations.
  • You will oversee quality, compliance, quantity, and availability of fuel and related systems and processes.
  • Evaluate the technical integrity of the fuel, including quality control sampling and testing.

This is a chance to collaborate with a Tier 1 services provider in a long-term operations and maintenance contract.

Your Qualifications and Skills
  • A strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Defence specific training will be beneficial; however, this training will be provided to the successful applicant where required.
  • A valid Drivers Licence (HR or HC will be highly regarded).
  • Safety is paramount in your work approach.
  • You must hold, or have the ability to obtain, appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
