Your New Role
We are looking for a dedicated, energetic and experienced Sea Operations Operator to join our team on a full-time basis located in our Bankstown Airport office.
Bring your flexible, Can-Do attitude to work every day and enjoy being part of an amazing team. As well as having experience in a similar role, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensure a smooth and efficient freight process within a dynamic team
Obtain rates, prepare quotes, and arrange international shipments
Collaborate with internal departments to streamline operations
Maintain clear and effective communication with overseas offices and agents
coordinating with our transport team for the releasing of cargo
issuing of correct documentation to customers and agents within the required time frames
Arranging Invoices including client monitoring and maintaining rates / activity reports
Job costing & EOM closure
Develop & maintain relationships with customers
Customer service is crucial in this role which means you will need to exercise a level of professionalism and understanding when it comes to customer needs.
What You Need
We will help you be successful in this role. To start you will need:
3 years experience in similar role
Excellent attention to detail
Cargowise experience
Your professional presentation and communication skills, along with true passion for providing exceptional customer experiences will play a major role in achieving success, both professionally and personally.
