This is a part-time job for Japanese native speakers who have experience teaching primary school students in group settings and are confident in speaking to parents about student progress.

Position Overview:

We are seeking 1-3 staff members to assist in launching a new Japanese program for local families, including administrative duties. Weekly commitments will range from 3-10 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including communication with parents, marketing, and program coordination.
  • Develop curriculum content for Primary-level sansuu and kokugo (Japanese) and English instruction.
  • Teach sansuu, kokugo, and eigo to primary school students in group environments (10 students) between 430-730pm on Monday/Tuesdays.
  • Participate in tutor training courses.
  • All teaching materials will be provided.
Requirements:
  • Experience teaching primary students in Japan.
  • Background in Japanese language education.
  • Able to teach Japanese kokugo.
  • Advantageous: ability to teach both Japanese and English to Japanese students.
