Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead our engineering and project delivery activities, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assigned project scope to the highest standard, ensuring compliance with project management plans, procedures, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and manage resources across work areas and teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Make informed commercial decisions that consider cost, time, quality, and profitability.
  • Assess project risks and opportunities, preparing reports and supporting the Project Manager with effective solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering quality outcomes.
  • Provide leadership in problem solving, applying analytical thinking to develop practical solutions and drive project success.
  • Lead high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience working on Civil construction projects.
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Technical experience in Marine scopes is desirable.
  • A proven track record of leading, mentoring, and developing teams to achieve project and organisational goals.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Australian Defence background is highly regarded.
  • Mandatory possession of relevant Australian working rights.
