About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring professional to join our team as an ambulance transport attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transport services in a non-emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Interventions: You will provide compassionate, patient-centred care across a range of acuity levels, ensuring clinical interventions are safe, effective, and aligned with our policies.
  • Communication: You will communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch and healthcare teams to support safe, timely patient transport and accurate handovers.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: You will lead by example, mentoring junior staff and maintaining professional registration and competencies through ongoing education and accreditation.
  • Safety and Quality: You will uphold safety and infection control standards, ensuring vehicles and equipment are ready, and work practices meet regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: You will contribute to continuous improvement, using resources efficiently, participating in quality assurance activities, and promoting incident reporting for service enhancement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Paramedical Science, Health Science (Paramedic), or equivalent
  • Completion of 400 clinical hours or graduate year
  • Valid Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Availability for a 24/7 rotating roster
