Working closely with our generous donors, you'll deliver exceptional service and ensure Australia's supply of blood products. You'll be working in a people-focused environment with less hospital pressure, and the chance to make a real difference in your community.

A Day in the Centre
  • Interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate
  • Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
  • Set up machines, tubing, and collection bags
  • Insert and remove needles safely to collect blood components
  • Coach and guide team members in the blood collection process
  • Manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and assistance
  • Monitor donors post-donation and assist with rebooking
