Project Management Expertise Sought

We are seeking a seasoned project management professional to lead the delivery of impactful infrastructure projects from planning through to completion. This collaborative and high-performing team environment offers a unique opportunity to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, leverage expertise, and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage infrastructure projects across all lifecycle stages: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Implement procurement activities in compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Defence standards.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships through proactive engagement and effective communication.
  • Oversee project documentation and reporting, adhering to Defence and APP Group guidelines.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and with a focus on risk management and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate handover/takeover processes and ensure timely project closeout.
  • Capture and share lessons learned to enhance future project delivery.
About You:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Possess a current Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to maintain one).
  • Proven experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the Defence or Government sector.
  • Familiarity with recognized project management methodologies, including PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of government procurement practices and compliance standards.
  • Excel in stakeholder engagement and communication.
