We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freedom of Information Coordinator to join our team.

This fixed term opportunity for up to 6 months with the possibility for extension and/or permanency is perfect for individuals who have knowledge and experience in Freedom of Information and want to work in a genuinely exciting, flexible and friendly work environment.

The successful candidate will assume a fundamental role in managing the Division's FOI team and reporting to the Team Leader Freedom of Information and Information Release in relation to its effectiveness.

Your success in the role will hinge on your ability to lead in a team environment, collaborate with your peers, and contribute to the achievement of team goals. You will also need to interpret and apply the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (WA) or have substantial knowledge and experience in applying similar legislation.

The key to your effectiveness in the role will be contingent upon your capacity to make defensible judgements based on analysis of facts and circumstances, and ability to manage a high workload, set priorities, implement risk strategies and meet deadlines under pressure and with competing priorities.
