Freedom of Information (FOI) & Information Management Officers

Location : Perth CBD & Surrounding Suburbs

Pay Rate : $45-$50 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Are you an experienced Freedom of Information (FOI) or Information Management professional seeking your next opportunity in local government? We're inviting expressions of interest from qualified individuals to join a talent pool for upcoming roles across the Perth CBD and surrounding suburbs.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and respond to Freedom of Information requests in line with legislative requirements and organisational policies.

Support the implementation and maintenance of records and information management systems.

Ensure compliance with records retention, disposal, and governance obligations.

Provide guidance to internal teams on FOI processes and best practice in information management.

Assist in the development and review of policies and procedures related to records and data management.

About You :

Demonstrated experience in FOI or records / information management, ideally within a government or public sector environment.

Strong understanding of FOI legislation, records management standards, and information governance frameworks.

High attention to detail with strong organisational and communication skills.

Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Highly Regarded :

Experience with TechnologyOne, Content Manager (TRIM), or other ERP / EDRMS platforms.

Knowledge of local government operations and regulatory requirements.
