Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging activities that promote social interaction, self-esteem, and a sense of achievement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement activity programs tailored to the needs, preferences, and capabilities of respite care recipients.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents by assisting with chosen activities and providing support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized activity profiles based on resident input and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of group and individual activities, including attendance and participation.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certificate 4 in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience working in aged care or a related field
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and services
