Event Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of all events and event-related activities.

The role involves end-to-end venue event planning including:

  • Managing initial enquiries, quoting, sales, and invoicing
  • Maintaining up-to-date events software and following up with enquiries
  • Planning events in conjunction with the internal team and client to ensure objectives are achieved
  • Preparing event run sheets, floor plans, and event day collateral
  • Coordinating and managing event staff, brand ambassadors, and suppliers with on-the-day head-up briefings
  • Managing and coordinating all in-house and off-site events with set-up, event running, and pack-down

The ideal candidate will have a higher education qualification in events or a related field and at least 3 years' demonstrated experience in a similar role.

Demonstrated experience within restaurants or hospitality/venue management is essential, as is a significant successful track record in planning and executing large and small-scale events.

The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to sensitively respond to a diverse range of stakeholders.
