Job Summary:
The position of Specialist Psychiatrist at our health campus presents an exciting opportunity to work in a leading regional facility focused on improving health outcomes for the population.
This 357-bed service treats nearly 45,000 emergency presentations each year, including patients with serious and life-threatening conditions such as burns and trauma.
About the Role:
- Work in the Inpatient Unit treating patients with complex mental health conditions
- Provide high-quality mental health support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
- Contribute to the supervision of junior psychiatrists and play a key role in shaping the future of our department
About You:
- RANZCP Accreditation as a Specialist Psychiatrist is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to thrive in this role
- Able to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
- Experience in psychiatric treatment and management is highly valued
What We Offer:
- Return airfares up to $450 return
- Accommodation provided for out-of-town candidates
- Fleet Car or Hire Car available at $50 per day car hire cap
Shift Details:
- Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00
- Weekend and public holiday on-calls via phone calls only
