Mental Health Expert Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Expert Professional to join our team in the Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service (PIMHS) in South Eastern Sydney.
PIMHS provides specialized support to parents and infants experiencing mental health issues. This is a temporary opportunity to work with us in SESLHD PIMHS Service.
- The successful candidate will be empathetic, passionate, and able to support parents of infants facing significant mental health challenges.
Our ideal candidate will have extensive post-graduate clinical experience in mental health and previous experience working with families of infants in the perinatal period.
They will possess excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
The clinician will provide high-level clinical advice, develop education tools, and support service excellence.
- They will be able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, apply advanced reasoning skills, and use independent professional judgment in complex situations.
Initiating, leading, completing, and sharing quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes are essential responsibilities.
- The candidate will also demonstrate experience providing advice on clinical service development, practice change, and service redesign.
A current unrestricted NSW driver's license and willingness to travel are required for this position.
