Finance Leader Role Overview

We are seeking a confident Finance Manager to lead the finance function in a broad, hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will oversee the finance function, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams across Australia.

You will be hands-on, improving processes, delivering accurate reporting, and helping the business stay responsive as it grows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of day-to-day finance operations including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Providing strategic insights to support project delivery and operational planning.
  • Maintaining strong financial controls, compliance, and end-of-month process efficiency.
  • Identifying opportunities for systems and process improvements.
  • Collaboration with project managers, operations, and external partners.
  • Supporting the executive team with reporting and strategic analysis.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in financial management or senior accounting roles.
  • A practical mindset with solutions-focused approach.
  • Confidence working in a project-based environment with ability to juggle priorities.
  • Solid systems experience including Excel and ERP/reporting platforms.
  • Experience in construction, civil infrastructure, or similar contracting environment highly regarded.
