Job Title: Strategic Financial Director

This is a challenging role for a seasoned professional to lead the financial function, oversee day-to-day operations and work closely with senior leadership.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow as part of overall financial strategy
  • Provide strategic insights to support project delivery and operational planning
  • Maintain robust financial controls, compliance, and end-of-month processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes
  • Collaborate with project managers, operations, and external partners
  • Support executive team with financial analysis and strategic decision-making
Requirements:
  • Strong background in financial management or senior accounting roles
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach – someone who takes initiative
  • Experience working in a project-based environment, juggling priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Solid systems experience, including Excel and ERP/reporting platforms
  • Background in construction, civil infrastructure, or similar contracting environments an asset
