
Senior Conference Manager

The Senior Conference Planner is a pivotal role in conference operations, responsible for developing and executing conferences related to agenda management and onsite session delivery.
This position creates exceptional customer experiences for attendees, sponsors, and associates at conferences. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant event experience and strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, cross-functionally and with agency partners.
- Lead operational delivery of all agenda elements across multiple concurrent conferences, including agenda management, capacity management, financial planning, and staff planning
- Collaborate with conference operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality conferences; build effective relationships with peers globally
- Partner with program management to deliver client-focused agendas; develop new processes for session management and agenda guidelines
- Create and manage client-facing conference websites displaying session information for attendees; adhere to agenda go-live and session access deadlines
- Analyze data to improve attendee engagement and predict attendee behavior, determining the best course of action on various conference elements
- Maintain conference master planners to ensure up-to-date session information and room allocation for key stakeholders
- Attend conferences as onsite leads for in-person delivery, managing session execution, data collection, and liaising with agency partners and vendors
- Partner with content leadership on projects to scale business and bring best practices to the region; proactively identify improvements for global processes
- Evaluate experiences, feedback, and results, implementing changes accordingly; create detailed post-conference analysis reports and conference debriefs
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant event experience
- Experience working in a corporate environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt, implement, and manage change
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure
