The senior content planner is a critical support role within the global content operations team, responsible for development, management and execution of various conference elements relating to agenda management and onsite session delivery, creating exceptional customer experiences for attendees, sponsors and associates attending conferences.Primary Responsibilities:Lead operational delivery of all agenda elements across multiple concurrent in-person conferences including agenda management, capacity management, financial management and staff planningCommunication and collaboration across conference operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of first-class conferences; build effective relationships with peers in all regions, take and share best practices to continuously raise the level of our conferences across the world.Partner with program management in delivering a client-focused agenda; develop and roll out new processes for session management and agenda guidelinesCreation and continuous management of client-facing website and conference app that displays all session information for attendees; adhering to agenda go live and session access deadlinesAnalyze data to improve attendee engagement and predict attendee behavior to determine best course of action on various conference elements; identify and plan for regional attendance trendsCreate and maintain conference's master planner to ensure up to date session information and room allocation is available to all key stakeholdersAttend conferences as the onsite lead for in-person delivery including managing the conference's session execution, data collection and liaising with agency partners and vendorsPartner with Content leadership team on projects to scale the business and bring best practices to the APAC region; proactively identify improvements for global processesConstantly evaluate the experience, feedback and results and implement changes accordingly.
Create detailed post-conference analysis reports and conference debriefs for review with management/other team members.Expected Results:Achieve operational excellence and execute conferences on time, within budget and with great attention to detailConference consistency through standardized and operational processes, project management and best practices both during planning and onsite executionDevelop a comprehensive understanding of Gartner's conference business including the value proposition of each conference for attendees and exhibitorsExperience/Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree preferred3 - 5 years of relevant event experienceExperience working in a corporate environmentStrong interpersonal and relationship building skills, cross-functionally and with agency partnersCreative, innovative and strategic thinker with a strong attention to detailMotivated team player with desire to learn and growExcellent written/oral communication and presentations skillsDemonstrated ability to adapt, implement and manage change and strive for continuous improvementExcellent organizational skills and an ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in high pressure situationsWillingness to support onsite conferences approximately 20% of timeWho are we?
