We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team at Endava. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the Telecommunications, Automotive, and Technology (Embedded & Io T) verticals in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to potential clients, showcasing our exceptional capability and building long-standing collaborative relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation strategies, networking, referrals, and online research.
  • Execute an end-to-end client sales cycle, from acquiring new clients to closing deals and driving revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects, researching and contacting prospects in alignment with sales goals.
  • Negotiate, manage, and close strategic new business deals, achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Apply your deep knowledge of the industry, its technological landscape, and the complex challenges it faces to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technology challenges within your vertical.
  • Participate in speaking events, workshops, panels, and conferences to share your expertise and insights, and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of business development experience, with a proven track record of selling IT Professional Services.
  • Demonstrable experience selling within the Telecommunication, Automotive, and/or Technology (Embedded & Io T) industry.
  • Strong ability to identify industry pain points to engage with and persuade VP or C-level decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets, with a demonstrated track record of success in new business development.
  • Experience preparing and presenting proposals, business cases, and statements of work.
