Job Title: Senior Manager of Quality

Proud Source Water is looking for a leader to manage our quality team. This role will be based in one of our facilities and will report to the VP of Operations. At a glance, this position requires strong leadership skills within fast-paced environments.

  • Develop and Implement QA Procedures: Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and policies for food and beverage production.
  • Conduct Regular Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with SQF and HACCP standards.
  • Ensure SQF Certification: Ensure SQF certification compliance by performing validation audit, updating and developing food safety protocols.
  • Analyze Consumer Complaints: Investigate, analyze, and assess consumer and customer complaints. Develop, train, and launch the process to engage the entire manufacturing team on the process to investigate and improve complaint processes.
  • Support Continuous Improvement: Support the analysis of customer and consumer feedback to identify improvement opportunities. Drive improvement by implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Provide Quality and Food Safety technical guidance, analysis, and leadership driving improvements in manufacturing processes, sanitation processes/systems, and quality systems.
  • Monitor and Enforce GMP: Monitors and enforces (Good Manufacturing Practices) HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), and other employee safety, food safety and quality programs throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Determine Root Causes: Work with the plant to determine root causes for food safety and quality related issues, develop and implement corrective action plans.
  • Manage Non-Conformances: Manage and troubleshoot non-conformances (raw materials, packaging, product, environmental monitoring, etc.) and drive root cause analysis. Assign corrective action, collaborate with supply-quality and other functions, and follow-up on completion.
