Job Overview

This role requires the ability to drill drive patterns using mechanised electric/Hydraulic drills suitable to ground conditions and in compliance with site-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess ground conditions at the face and implement ground control measures according to site specifications.
  • Read and accurately follow mining instruction plans with skill and precision, ensuring holes are drilled to design line, gradient, and profile.
  • Communicate effectively with surveyors, geologists, and engineers as required.
  • Optimise drill patterns to ensure maximum advance per round while maintaining adherence to design specifications.

  • Proven experience in drilling and blasting operations.
  • Strong understanding of ground control principles and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret mine plans and surveys.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
