Job Description

This role offers unique opportunity to contribute improvement of engagement practice across government and how we listen to, involve and respond to Canberra community.

You will play central role in strengthening how ACT Government connects with Canberra community. You will work across ACT Public Service to improve engagement practices, foster cultural change, and embed consistent and responsive approach to community involvement.

  • Contribute implementation of refreshed whole-of-government Engagement Framework.
  • Support key strategic projects.
  • Help deliver engagement governance across government.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive engagement strategy across ACTPS.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity.
  • Promote effective communication channels.
Requirements

We are looking for candidate with demonstrated experience in community engagement, communications and strong understanding of government processes. You will bring excellent relationship management skills, strategic mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects in dynamic environment.

Tertiary qualifications in Engagement, Communications or related field. Accreditation with International Association of Public Participation (IAP2).
