Job Title: Community Engagement Specialist

This is a key role in ensuring that our organization engages effectively with local communities, stakeholders and government agencies. The successful candidate will play a critical part in maintaining relationships and managing community interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all projects are aligned with organizational values and legislative requirements
Liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication
Verify project works for potential environmental impact in line with legal and contractual obligations
Manage client escalations with relevant stakeholders as required
Work collaboratively within the team to support various projects across the business

Requirements:
Strong stakeholder communications skills
Proficient in business software, databases, project management systems, and Microsoft Office
Background in Project/Construction/Environmental disciplines
Experience with Telecommunications/Construction Access Compliance Procedures/Planning procedures is highly desirable
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in task management
Excellent liaison, communication and writing skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proactive and willing to learn and develop in the role
