Key Responsibilities
  • Apply Observability principles to our infrastructure, environments, and software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage the application of best practice SLI's, SLO's, metrics, and error budgets to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting technologies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish release engineering best practices and develop reliability software patterns and practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with feature teams to integrate reliability practices into development and ensure seamless deployment.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in software engineering with a focus on reliability and observability.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in automating toil and improving software delivery processes.
  • Excellent understanding of modern software development practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Influence and technical leadership capabilities to drive change and manage stakeholders.
  • Strong DevOps fundamentals with a preference for Java, Golang, Microservices, and other cloud technologies.
