Role Overview

The Behaviour Support Practitioner in Paediatrics role is a highly rewarding position that involves providing positive behaviour support services to individuals with complex needs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals and their families or carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment.
  • Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure individual plans reflect the individual's goals, passions, and strengths.
Requirements
  • Proficient or Advanced level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is essential for success in this role.
  • Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern (professionally or personally) is crucial.
  • Excellent report writing skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for effective collaboration.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are necessary for regular visits.
