Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Educational Designer to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement innovative learning solutions that enhance student engagement and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with academic staff and other service providers to create a comprehensive support model for academics.
  • Design and maintain Learning Management System course-sites, ensuring seamless integration of digital resources and technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with contemporary learning theories, models, and practices, applying this knowledge to inform design decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on learning innovations and pedagogies.
  • Support the development of educational resources, approaches, and interfaces that meet academic needs.
  • Write and co-create learning documents, assessment descriptions, rubrics, and lecture materials.
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, fostering effective relationships with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification and expertise in learning and teaching theories and practices.
  • Extensive experience designing learning resources, approaches, and user interfaces on Moodle or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to write and produce high-quality learning documents and resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
