We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Operations Loader. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery to create smarter solutions for our customers while monitoring product quality and ensuring your safety and the safety of the team.


About the Role

As an Operations Loader, you will work in a fast-paced environment where you will assist customers with material collection, safely unload inbound trucks and load outbound trucks, operate forklifts and other plant equipment safely and efficiently, and assist operators in other locations including rollforming and sheet metal production.


You will also be responsible for conducting routine safety and equipment checks before and after use, and assisting with general warehouse duties to maintain a clean and organised workspace.


Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with material collection.
  • Safely unload inbound trucks and load outbound trucks.
  • Operate forklifts and other plant equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist operators in other locations including rollforming and sheet metal production.
  • Conduct routine safety and equipment checks before and after use.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties to maintain a clean and organised workspace.

Requirements
  • A current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
  • Effective communication skills, a can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to think on your feet providing safe and workable solutions.
