About the Role


This specialist HSE role provides critical support and advice to project management staff, subcontractors, and workers across various sites in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of company HSE policies and procedures, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain health and safety plans for projects
  • Ensure adherence to legislation and regulations
  • Provide training and guidance to team members and subcontractors
  • Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
  • Maintain relationships with employees, stakeholders, and external partners


Requirements:



  • Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety or higher qualification
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a WHS role within the commercial industry
  • Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential
  • Strong understanding of current OH&S legislation and regulations
  • Able to work effectively in fast-paced environments and manage deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills


Benefits:


The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 per annum, plus superannuation. This permanent full-time position offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
