Public Liability and Recovery Specialist

About the Role:This role is ideal for a motivated professional seeking to deepen their expertise in public liability and recovery claims in a well-supported environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end litigation files across public liability and recovery matters
- Draft legal advice, indemnity and liability assessments, and strategic recommendations
- Prepare statements, letters of demand, court documentation, and settlement deeds
- Brief and instruct counsel, liaise with independent experts and appear at court and mediation
- Coach junior team members and support seasonal clerks during their rotations
- Build trusted relationships with clients, demonstrating commercial acumen and professionalism
- 5+ years PAE in insurance, litigation, or recoveries (plaintiff or defendant background)
- Admitted and holding a current practising certificate in Queensland (or eligible)
- Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities with a calm and professional approach
- Experience in property-related claims or recovery work is highly desirable
