Village Community Leader
Job Description:
The Village Community Leader plays a pivotal role in fostering vibrant, inclusive communities where older individuals can thrive. This position ensures the seamless operation of our retirement village, creating a welcoming environment that promotes independence, wellbeing, and connection.
This leader works closely with administration staff and collaborates across internal teams to deliver exceptional care services. The role is offered on a full-time basis and covers multiple villages.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records and reporting for financial, maintenance, and stakeholder activities.
- Build trusted relationships with residents and families through responsive, respectful communication.
- Maintain high occupancy and positive reputation of the village through effective marketing and engagement.
- Deliver village services within established parameters, ensuring financial sustainability and transparency.
- Facilitate social activities and community engagement that enhance resident wellbeing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies, including WHS standards.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support resident independence.
- Respond to complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of retirement living operations and relevant legislation.
- Proven experience in budget preparation, financial reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience presenting at resident meetings and facilitating community activities.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Aged Care, or Hospitality (desired).
- First Aid and CPR certification (desired).
- National Police Check (desired).
