Assistant Village Manager Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and person-centred professional to lead day-to-day operations of our retirement village.

This is a customer-facing role where you will be required to be organised, fast-paced and friendly. Your ability to connect with residents and provide support will be essential in ensuring their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents and their families, internal stakeholders and external contractors
  • Provide support to the management team in managing daily operations, including safety, security and maintenance
  • Assist with budget development and financial management
  • Provide coverage during leave absences of colleagues

Requirements:

  • Experience in an operations-based management role (e.g. hospitality, property management or facilities management)
  • Passion for supporting people residing in a retirement living environment
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Suite and high level computer literacy
  • High-level written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
