- Design and execute service-oriented solutions to enhance the long-term performance of balance of plant equipment.
- Conduct in-depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for system trips, identifying underlying issues and driving corrective actions.
- Establish and adhere to best practices and protocols for diverse maintenance activities concerning third-party OEM equipment.
- Lead the promotion and upholding of safety protocols for MV/HV equipment, advocating for secure work practices.
- Perform rigorous testing and provide clear explanations of fundamental requirements and advantages for specific balance of plant equipment.
- Facilitate effective communication and feedback collection from the wider Tesla Energy service organization, compiling comprehensive updates about accomplished tasks, identified challenges, and projected timelines.
- Foster strong relationships with third-party equipment servicing entities to ensure operational integrity of the plant.
- Maintain meticulous record-keeping standards for all HV operations, including switching coordination.
- Provide support to Tesla Energy BOP assets in alignment with contractual obligations and customer objectives.
- Generate detailed reports concerning operational maintenance plans, testing, audits, performance insights, and forecasts.
- Compile and deliver comprehensive asset management reports to clients, supervisors, and management.
- Collaborate with the team director and design/construction team to guarantee operational compliance with all commitments, performance guarantees, and company benchmarks.
- Conduct periodic online monitoring, recording, incident identification, and resolution for any events that disrupt power generation or overall project functionality.
- Minimum of 5 years of cross-functional project or field engineering experience.
- Holder of a B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience in HV operations.
- Proficient in primary and secondary systems, showcasing a robust understanding.
- Adept at navigating ambiguity, formulating and executing strategies, and demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
- Established history of cultivating robust customer relationships and delivering impactful communication.
- Passionate and empathetic when collaborating with diverse teams and partners to overcome challenges.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and quantitative skills, leveraging data and metrics to inform assumptions and guide decision-making.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and tasks concurrently, spanning various teams, all within tight timelines.
- Skilled at building rapport with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of fluency in English.
- Exhibits a profound sense of urgency and an innate drive to achieve objectives promptly.
